“I have lived my whole life in our great City and I am confident that we can build our community into a place where everyone can be safe and proud to call Monroe home.” - Mike Hayter, candidate for Monroe City Council
Mike has spent his entire career of 33 years in the construction building trades industry fighting for better wages and working conditions for his fellow workers. He is proudly endorsed by his union, LiUNA Local 499.
Why I’m Running For City Council
I’m running to make sure the Monroe is the best city it can possibly be. We need the best services, the safest neighborhoods, and the best place to raise a family. That includes bringing in great jobs, affordable housing, and good recreation opportunities for a healthy lifestyle. Monroe should always be a community we can be proud of and if elected, I will fight my hardest to make our community the best city it can possible be.
