Improving our public services.

Building the best Monroe.

Mike is committed to improving our City and is looking forward to tackling the tough issues the City faces. He is also excited to hear from residents about what specific issues they think the City needs to address.

  • Mike wants to attract jobs to Monroe that are high paying and stable. In addition to attracting new business to Monroe, he wants to foster a welcoming environment to launch small businesses that maintain our small town atmosphere. He’ll also prioritize refilling our downtown to ensure the heart of our City continue to thrive.

  • Mike will continue to redevelop our parks and make sure they are close to every resident. Green spaces should connect residents with a network of safe trails and bike paths to get around town. As a former coach, he knows how important youth and family programs are to any parent trying to keep their kids healthy, active, and safe.

  • Mike will fight to keep our public safety top notch, repave more of our roads, and improve our city services. That includes fighting to keep our lights on. The City must do everything in can to prevent power outages.

  • Mike has seen the damage that drugs and alcohol have had on families here in the city. He will work to expand treatment programs to ensure all residents can get the care and support they need to recover.
